Fan Hopes & Expectations for Arizona Cardinals in 2025
As longtime Cardinals fans, this summer feels like a turning point for our family. After two frustrating seasons filled with injury and uncertainty, there’s finally a sense of momentum as training camp gets underway. The biggest reason is Kyler Murray. With training camp in full swing, Murray looks fully healthy, more confident, and back in control of the offense. Seeing him moving well and throwing with accuracy during camp has been a huge boost after so much time spent wondering if he’d ever return to form.
Then there’s Marvin Harrison Jr. It’s early, but he already looks like a game-changer. His route-running is polished, his hands are reliable, and he seems to have instant chemistry with Kyler. There’s a buzz every time he makes a play. This is the most excitement we’ve felt about a rookie since the early days of Larry Fitzgerald.
The defense also looks improved. Adding Josh Sweat from the Eagles gives us a reliable pass rusher and a veteran presence. He’s been working closely with younger players like BJ Ojulari and Zaven Collins, which should pay off as the season progresses. Head coach Jonathan Gannon seems more in command this year, emphasizing discipline, speed, and smarter play. The energy at camp feels sharper and more focused than last summer.
There’s still plenty of work to do. The offensive line has to protect better, and we need more consistency on third downs and in the red zone. But we can finally see progress. DraftKings Sportsbook has the Cardinals’ win total at 6.5, which sounds about right, but if Kyler and Harrison stay healthy, we think they can beat that.
This may not be a playoff season, but it feels like the foundation is being set for something better. And after sticking with this team through so many rough years, that kind of steady growth is something to get behind.
