May 14, 2024, 9 to 10:30 a.m.
The Phoenix VA Health Care System's first #VeggiesforVeterans event for the year is offering FREE fresh fruits and vegetables at the Carl T. Hayden VAMC for all Veterans and their families.
May 25, 2024, 7 a.m.
Flag Placements, meet at center stage at VA National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix AZ 85024
Monday, May 27 - 7:00 a.m.
Memorial Day hike at Thunderbird Conservation Park-Parking Lot, Glendale, AZ 85310. This annual Memorial Day hike is a moderate hike culminating with a short ceremony at the peak to honor fallen warriors. All are welcome, including dogs and children, but political paraphernalia is discouraged. Come together as American citizens to honor military heroes, and feel free to bring service pride gear.
