Parada del Sol is the culmination of Scottsdale's annual Western Week
celebration. It's a good old fashioned parade with a western twist.
Watch local high school bands perform and don't miss the color guards!
We've been watching the Desert Mountain Wolves practice before, during,
and after the high school soccer games, and it's clearn they're working
hard to make it a great show! You'll see cowboys, cowgirls and even
cowgrandmas and cowgrandpas in various formations on horseback. Did we
mention horses? There will be So Many horses of every size,
shape, and variety, and they will be dressed to the nines! Classic cars,
fire trucks, clowns, and motorcycles will be shown in abundance. The
swift-footed children will gather plenty of candy, and it will just be
nice to enjoy the sunshine on a Saturday morning in Old Town Scottsdale.
We hope to see you there this Saturday, February 4th. The parade begins at 10:00 am, but if you want a parking spot and a good seat, plan to be there by about 9:00 am. Click here for a parade map.
