Reading through this data made me wonder whether we've gotten enough rain?
According to the Arizona Department of Water Resources monthly report, "Most statewide locations reached or exceeded normal June precipitation, though normal June rainfall is very low."
Overall, most of the Phoenix area's water supply is derived from the Salt River Project (SRP) from the Salt and Verde Rivers, and the Central Arizona Project (CAP) which delivers Colorado River water. A small amount of Phoenix' supply comes from wells, or groundwater. The Phoenix AMA Groundwater Basin (Phoenix AMA) has a current supply of between 2.4 and 2.6 million AF of water.
